A book well worth reading to learn the skills of analytical reading. The reading skills detailed equips one for life long learning. A great book to read in high school or before college. At times the writer is verbose. However, a patient and active learning read of this book will be very rewarding for the self directed learner. It covers the concepts of grammar, logic, and rhetoric. And it gives the foundation skills needed to appreciate the classics.
