Excellent combination of science writing and entertainment to create a book that gives one an understanding of the current research on the origins of the universe and life. The chapters on the Big Bang, the importance of carbon, and exploration of the universe using the energy spectrum visible and invisible rays are well done. A very humbling and thought provoking book about the universe.
