Review: Uncle Tom's Cabin

Uncle Tom's Cabin Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Librivox audio book: Powerful use of fiction writing to have the reader emotionally and intellectually understand the brutality of slavery. It was a powerful and effective abolitionist book for the public in the 1850s. Also the reader will understand why the pejorative "Uncle Tom" and "nigger" are terrible terms used by persons of ignorance and whom have not read this book. There are also thought provoking soliloquies by the characters on Christianity and Atheism.
