The moral struggles of abortion and the danger of extremism are given a human face. The book shares with the reader what happens to the extended family when a person becomes a zealot for a cause. The author also is a very good sports writer. Reading this book will give one insight into the unending debate on abortion and the moral dimesions of choicie. The empathy created for the characters in this story gives the book its tragic emotional experience for the reader.
