Librivox audio book: An interesting book to read at the beginning of the 21st century. The reader can parallel the arguments in this book with the arguments of nationalists vs. globalists. Also, it can be compared to the economic arguments of the 99% vs. the 1%. Among its central ideas is that the profits in a capitalist economy can not occur without exploitation of labor. Also, that the capitalist governments create ideologies and institutions that will absorb or co-opt conflict with the working class by creating institutions that philosophically address issues but does not change the underlying system that perpetuates the wealth of the bourgeois. This book does not give a guide on how a stateless government and the redistribution of private property can be created. It is an intellectual and emotional appeal to the labor class. During its time, it was the beginning of the machine age. It is interesting how Marx's arguments apply to the age of robots and artificial intelligence.
