Family Fun Time Card Game

To celebrate family gatherings with an inexpensive fun activity for young and healthy older people:

A New Card Game:  Party Time Crazy, Crazy Eights

Rules created by Ernest J Sneed, Jr. MD

Items needed: 1-2 decks of playing cards and a radio tuned to a local dance music radio station.

Review rules on how to play crazy 8s: https://www.wikihow.com/Play-Crazy-Eights

Number of players: 2-6. Ages 7 and older

One deck of 52 playing cards for 2-4 players, Two decks of cards for 4-6 players

Set up:  remove the Jokers from the card deck.  Shuffle the card deck very well.

Special card rules:  2 = pick 2 cards from the deck and skip turn, 4 = pick 4 cards from the deck and skip turn, 8 = play suit selected by player, J = skip turn, A = reverse play direction to clockwise or counter clock wise.

6 = Party Time Crazy card-The Silly 6. The next person in rotation after the 6 is played has to dance to the music being played on the radio for 30 seconds and skip turn to play.  The other players cheer or boo very loudly the dance skills and effort ( This entertainment break should create hilarious memories).

Game sequence of play is similar to regular crazy 8 rules.  For 2-4 players deal 5 cards per person one at a time. For 4-6 persons deal 8 cards. Remaining cards will form the deck from which players will draw cards.

The winner is the first person to win at least 3 matches. The more matches played will increase the fun.

Treasure the time with family and friends.
