Review: The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History

The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History The Sixth Extinction: An Unnatural History by Elizabeth Kolbert
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Overview of the activities of humans as an "invasive species" that is destroying the biodiversity of the planet at a rapid rate. Clear explanations of the impact of global warming, deforestation, and land acclamation impact on the speed of extinction of many species. Also, the book covers the scientific history of evolution by the major historical figures. A good read.
