Review: An Exorcist Explains the Demonic: The Antics of Satan and His Army of Fallen Angels

An Exorcist Explains the Demonic: The Antics of Satan and His Army of Fallen Angels An Exorcist Explains the Demonic: The Antics of Satan and His Army of Fallen Angels by Gabriele Amorth
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Written as a handbook on the signs, symptoms, and treatment of demonic possession, this book is a review of the Catholic Catechism concepts on faith, life after death, and eternal damnation. The author also shares personal stories regarding how a faithful person and community can assist a tormented person. The author acknowledges the importance of psychiatry and insists that the troubled person be evaluated by a psychiatrist first or in cooperation with a trained priest. He also reviews the topics of heaven, purgatory, and hell. And he reminds the reader that the key to attaining heaven in the Catholic faith is "to love God and love your neighbor" in all actions. A short book that is a worthwhile read.
