Review: Life 3.0: Being Human in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

Life 3.0: Being Human in the Age of Artificial Intelligence Life 3.0: Being Human in the Age of Artificial Intelligence by Max Tegmark
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A very well written and thought provoking book on the future of computers, artificial intelligence, and the destiny of humankind . The author covers various topics in depth: particle physics, computer science, cosmology, psychology, neuroscience, and philosophy. The epilogue is also a political tutorial on how to advance provocative ideas through education, expert support, and finances. What is consciousness? Can future computers/artificial intelligence machines achieve consciousness? These and many more questions are explored and makes for a very enjoyable book to learn about the future of technology.
