An inspirational memoir of a law enforcement officer who also sees her role as a civil rights activist for the victims of crime and injustice. Her years as the Attorney General for California and the cases she has pursued for the "little person" form the foundation of her political philosophy. The book does not detail her vision or plans for the presidency. The value of the book is that it gives insight into the power a prosecutor has to affect a community.
