The book details that the slaves were from various cultures that included military experience and could coordinate military operations with slaves of various nations. Gives insight into the early America need for slave labor and the political and economic ideology to justify the slave exploitation. The book concludes with how the issues of liberty fought for by the slaves have influence on current politics.
